Andrew Johnston

Rochester: Johnston, Andrew “Drew” passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 18th, 2024, at the age of 59. He is predeceased by both of his parents, Alan and JoAnn Johnston, brothers and in-laws, Alan Jay, Diane, Mark “Shorty” Johnstonand Ken Hodgkins, and his niece, Carrie Bundschuh. Survived by his loving sister, Jana Hodgkins, nieces, and nephew: Heather Bundschuh, Liz and Amy Hodgkins, and Matthew Johnston. And wonderful great-uncle to, Jayden and Lexi Hodgkins-Reyome and Salvatore “Sammie” and Sofia Cavicchioli. Drew also leaves behind several cousins, friends, and extended family members. 

On Friday, March 15th at 2pm the family invites anyone who would like to attend the burial, located at White Haven Memorial Park, 210 Marsh Road, Pittsford. A memorial service for both Drew and his father, Alan “Scott” Johnston, will be held on Saturday, March 16th at 11am at Zion United Methodist Church, 3960 West Walworth Road, Macedon, NY 14502. We invite you to bring photos or a note with a favorite memory that you would like to share with the family. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in his name to the church or a charity of your choice. 

A special thank you to the ALL of the staff members at Strong Memorial Hospital, with loving thanks to the hospice team, especially Laura and Sam. Drew had a way of lighting up the room and filling the hearts of others around him with so much love, he will be deeply missed - and always loved.
