Residents of Monroe and other surrounding counties who have no assets, receive Disability Benefits, Medicaid or Supplemental Benefits likely qualify for financial assistance. If the deceased qualifies and receives the full assistance grant, Genesee Valley Cremation will provide our direct cremation service at NO COST to the family.

Assistance is subject to approval by the County Burial Coordinator. Genesee Valley Cremation will submit the necessary information to the Burial Coordinator and process all of the paperwork with the county to ensure that the process is as simple as possible for you.
