Aggie Seneway was born in Pittsburgh PA on December 19, 1944 and passed away peacefully in Rochester on November 12, 2020. Aggie is predeceased by her parents Thomas and Helen Seneway and her brother Tom. Aggie is survived by her sisters and Anne (Paul) Marcucci and Jean Seneway, her brother Jim, his daughter Lissi (Ray) Blanchard, Tom's daughter Carrie (Nick) Rodgers-Falascino and their son Danny, as well as many cousins, good friends, and neighbors.
Aggie was a dedicated educator in the Hilton Central School district since 1971, serving as a classroom teacher, administrator, and member of the board of education. She also served as president of the teachers union for several years. Aggie taught classes and supervised students teachers at SUNY Brockport. Aggie earned degrees from Mercyhurst, SUNY Brockport, and Nazareth. She earned her doctorate of education in 2017 from the University of Rochester while battling cancer.
Aggie was a champion of children. She dedicated her life to teaching and advocating for every child. She believed a smile could change the course of someone's day. Her smile lit up the sky. A celebration of Aggie's life will be held at a later date when state regulations permit it.
