Alan "Scott" M. Johnston

Alan M. "Scott" Johnston left us to join his wife and other loved ones on February 2nd, 2024 at 93-years young. He is predeceased by his wife, JoAnn (Dietterick) Johnston; sons Alan J. and Mark “Shorty” and granddaughter Carrie Bundschuh. He was the last surviving child of James and Maud (Farquharson) Johnston. He leaves a huge hole in the hearts of many, but especially in those of his surviving children, Jana Hodgkins and Andrew “Drew” Johnston. He was THE WORLDS BEST grandfather to Heather Bundschuh, Liz & Amy Hodgkins, and Matthew Johnston; several niece, nephews, family and friends. Those who held his heart the most, his great-grandchildren (and official board members) Jayden and Lexi Hodgkins-Reyome, and Salvatore “Sammie" & Sofia Cavicchioli. 

Calling hours will be held on Friday, February 9th from 4-7pm at Perinton Park Pavilion, located at 99 O’Connor Rd, Fairport, NY. A Memorial Service will be held on a later date at the family’s convenience. The family invites you to bring photos or a note with a favorite memory that you would like to share.

A special thank you to Highland Hospital, especially the staff of the 7th Floor, ICU, the Palliative Care team, Dr. “Matt” and Dr. Staicu. Your incredible care, dedication, support, and love meant so much to all of us, but especially to our Dad/Grandpa. Thank you so very much!
