On June 24, 2023. Amber is predeceased by her mother Jean Thomas and sister Danielle Turner. She is survived by her daughter Ameliya Neu; father Willie Brooks; siblings Onica Brooks, Nicole Thomas, Samantha Thomas and Willie Brooks Jr.; foster parents Allen & Josie Crusoe; a host of other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
