Andrzej Kazimierz Malecki

Andrzej Kazimierz Malecki, 70, of Rochester, New York, passed away peacefully and unexpectedly on March 30, 2026. Born on October 21, 1955, in Szczecin, Poland, he was the son of the late Jozef and Maria Malecki.

A highly talented head chef for most of his life, Andrzej took great pride in his culinary work and had earlier served in the military. He cherished his beloved cat Myszka and found great joy in playing soccer. He enjoyed watching the Polish national football team on television with family and friends, cheering them on with passion.

He is predeceased by his parents, Jozef and Maria Malecki, and his brother, Wojciech Malecki.

Andrzej is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Janusz and Jadwiga Malecki; his nieces and nephews, Patryk Malecki, Joanna Malecki, Jonathan Malecki, and Nicole Malecki; his great-nephew, Nicholas Baglio; his cousins, Janusz "Ryszard" Chomicz and Anna Chomicz; and extended family and friends.

He will be greatly missed by all those who knew him.

Friends and family are invited to a Funeral Mass for Andrzej on April 18, 2026, at 11:00 AM, at St. Ambrose Church, 25 Empire Blvd., Rochester, NY 14609.
