Brian L. Miller

Brian L. Miller, a beloved father, brother, grandfather, and friend, who left this world on June 2, 2026, after a courageous battle with many health issues. Born on July 10, 1959, in Rochester, NY, Brian's life was a testament to resilience, love, and laughter.

Brian was the cherished son of the late Sam and Mae Miller and is predeceased by his dear sisters, Ruth and Penny Miller, and his ex-wife, Donna Miller.

He is survived by his loving daughters, Carly Kuhner and Lindsay Saad, who were the pride and joy of his life. His sons-in-law, Samir Saad and Joseph Kuhner, and his grandson Parker Saad. Brian leaves behind his brothers, Ross and Sammy Miller, along with many nieces, nephews, and countless close friends who became like family to him.

Brian's early years were marked by his service in the U.S. Navy. Following his military service, he embarked on various career paths, but his true passion lay in driving semi-trucks and operating heavy machinery vehicles.

Brian was a man of many interests and hobbies. He had a particular fondness for building models, a creative outlet he shared with friends and family. In recent years, he found delight in constructing Lego sets.  Brian's love for movies, especially superhero, Star Trek, and Star Wars films, was well-known among his circle. His fascination with classic cars, which he often recreated as models, was another testament to his creative spirit.

Affectionately known as "The Bear," Brian was a beacon of friendliness and humor. His outgoing nature and ability to make others laugh endeared him to many. He proudly dubbed himself the "cool Dad/Uncle" and was always ready to lend a listening ear or share a conversation over a cup of coffee. Brian's capacity for forming lasting friendships was a source of strength during the challenging times in his life.

A private celebration will be held to honor Brian's memory at a later date, in accordance with his final wishes to rest at sea. In lieu of flowers, the family expresses their deepest gratitude to the Strong Hospital MICU team for their extraordinary care in Brian's final weeks. A special thank you is extended to Lisa, his dedicated aid, whose tireless support and compassion went far beyond the call of duty.
