Dr. Duncan's professional journey was marked by dedication and hard work. He worked at JFK Airport while also working overnight at Wall Street Bank. In the year of our Lord and Savior 1970, at the age of seventeen, Lambert Duncan was called into ministry and ordained under the late Pastor Lindsay Bailey. He faithfully served at the St. Luke Baptist Church in Buffalo, South Carolina. Because of his faithfulness and godly character, in 1985, the Lord placed Dr. Duncan as Pastor of Glad Tiding Baptist Church in Medina, New York, where he served for thirty-nine years.

Pastor Lambert Lewis Duncan enrolled in the Carolina University of Theology to continue his education, where he earned his Doctorate degrees in Ministry and Christian Counseling. In addition, his commitment to serving others extended to volunteering at the Open Door Mission in Rochester, New York, where he was instrumental in distributing food to the less fortunate for thirteen years. He was also a Board Certified Chaplain through Burroughs Divinity Bible School, Mount Vernon, New York. His spiritual leadership and compassionate heart impacted the lives of countless individuals from all walks of life.

Dr. Lambert L. Duncan was known for his vibrant energy and love for fitness. He regularly exercised at LA Fitness. For fifty years, he practiced and eventually mastered Aikido and earned his sixth-degree black belt in Ju-Jitsu. He displayed a disciplined life that inspired others around him.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 52 years, Elect Lady Elaine Duncan, who walked by his side through all of life's journeys.
