Edward G. Taft

It is with great sadness that the family of Edward G. Taft announces his passing after courageously battling cancer on July 10, 2018.  Edward was born October 6, 1945 to Harry and Dorothy (Knight) Taft.  Edward will be lovingly remembered by his brothers and sisters, Harry (Dee) Taft, Marlene (Frank) Scarson, Robert Taft, John Taft, Dorothy (Tim) Sykes; longtime friend Dave Smith; aunt Helen (Knight) Joslin; uncle James (Carol) Knight; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his brother Arthur John Taft.Edward was a veteran who served in the US Navy aboard the USS Norris.  After his service to his country he was an auto body painter.  He moved to Hollywood, Florida in 1975, and continued his passion for painting.  Eddy was a fun loving and outgoing brother, cousin, uncle and friend.  He will be sadly missed by his friends and family.A graveside service will be held Monday, July 16, 2018 at 1 pm at White Haven Memorial Park located at 210 Marsh Road, Pittsford, NY 14534.  Memorial donations may be made to Serenity House of Victor, 1278 Brace Road, Victor, NY 14564.
