Obituary

Elena Ankodinova Frisenda passed away on May 14th, 2022, in Newark, New York. She is survived by her husband John Frisenda and her daughter Veronica Frisenda. 

Elena was an only child, born and raised in Moscow, Russia. She earned her master's degree from Moscow Architectural Institute and was passionate about art and history throughout her entire life. Throughout the years, her and her family lived in a few different states, until her and John found a new home in Newark for themselves and their energetic, loving dogs, while Veronica found home in California. Elena was a very skilled artist and knitter and took great enjoyment in both. She loved her family more than anything and will be greatly missed.
