Ellis Newton Obituary

Ellis Newton Jr. entered into rest on July 9, 2020, at his home in Corfu, with his family at his side.

Born August 13, 1935 in the town of Alabama, Ellis was the son of the late Ellis and Edna (Kyle) Newton.

Ellis was predeceased by his loving wife Mary Lou (Pirtsch) Newton and brother Jack.
He is survived by his three children John (Sharon) Newton, Julie (Steven) Beach and Jennie Newton; his three grandchildren Nicholas Newton, Alex Newton, and Hannah Beach; sister Jeanette (late Peter) Roborge; brothers Frank (Laurie) and Melvin (late Betty); several nieces and nephews.

Ellis retired from Leroy Industries. He served in the US Army from 1956-1958. Ellis was a quiet, gentle man, with a deep love for his family. He was a great outdoorsman that enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening.

A private service will be held at the convenience of the family.
