George Wright Obituary

George A. Wright, 77, entered eternal life on Sunday February 4, 2024 surrounded by family. He is survived by his wife, Sandra Brummett; sister Suzanne Tweedy and stepbrother Douglas Bower.

George was born December 24, 1946 to George S. Wright and Marjorie Porkhouse. He graduated from Penfield High School in 1964. He served in the U.S. Army from 1966 to 1969, including 18 months in Vietnam, and becoming a "Green Beret." After being honorably discharged from active duty, he worked over 30 years at Eastman Kodak. He loved hunting, fishing and enjoyed the outdoors. He spent many summers on Lake Ontario in Canada and was a member of the Wedgwood Club in Quebec, CA where he and Sandy enjoyed many good times.
