Passed suddenly on December 7, 2024.
It is never easy to say goodbye when so many other words are left unsaid. It is in a blink that time goes by and it is only in a fleeting thought or memory that images of a life exist once they have passed from this Earth to another plane. Whether that life was lived to its fullest of struggles, makes no difference, because in the end we all had purpose, and although not everyone shares the same perception of purpose, it is through life and life alone that regret and resilience are the makeup of one's heart. There can never be judgement, lest we all be judged, and there can never be anger once the moment has passed. Life in all its glory and all its strife is bittersweet. It is what we gather along the way that lays strewn in fragmented pieces, even though each piece symbolizes one specific moment that shapes the true person you once were, the person that still lived deep within a silent heart and who will be set free to live again in the hearts of others. The beauty of a memory is relishing the smiles of one's happier times, and although sadness rears its head we hold on to those long-ago smiles where love, and joy exists. That is where we will all go as we remember Holly Palmer.
Holly was a graduate of Rochester Business Institute. Following her education, she was employed by the Rochester City School District in their Accounting Department. She had the kind of smile that was infectious. Amongst her friends, growing up, she was so sweet and was one of those friends whom everyone loved. Those are the places we should all go when remembering this soul. She was a mother and she will be missed. She was a sister and a friend, and she will be missed. She will be missed as we all miss those lost moments of a long-ago innocence and it's that which every heart who knew her will remember too.
Holly Palmer is survived by her son Joshua (Lexi Lamantia) Palmer-Sinden; daughter Journey Palmer; Holly's significant other, Daniel Green; sisters Tracy (Dave) Pasker & Christine Kruger; nieces & nephews April (Alex) Alicea, Patrick (Alonna) Whitney, Leah (Tim) Brennan, Shayla Pasker, Nick Kruger and Niomi Kruger. She is predeceased by her parents Lucy and Charles Palmer along with her sister, Wendy Whitney.
The family would like to thank you in advance for your thoughts and prayers. A Celebration of Life will be planned for a later date.
