Jeffrey Joseph (DeFields) Hummel

Jeffrey Joseph (DeFields) Hummel USAF Veteran of Batavia NY, born April 13, 1959, died suddenly on April 14, 2025. He was pre-deceased by both his parents Ruth & Donald DeFields and adoptive parents Greg & Joan Hummel; and sister Paula (Michael) Welch.

He is survived by his sisters Michelle(Charles) Bowen, Martha (Wayne) Johnson, Margot (Doug) Ambrose, Deborah (Michael) Blizniak , Beverly (John Howard) O’Connor, Margery (Thomas) Craig; brothers Alan (Lori) Craine, Randolph DeFields, Gregg O’Connor; and many nieces and nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and cousins. 

A private service and burial will be held for the family in WNY National Cemetery in Corfu, NY.
