John C. Lasher

John C. Lasher, 64, of Sprakers, New York, passed away peacefully on February 13, 2026.

Born on February 6, 1962, John had a deep love for music and enjoyed playing guitar, often expressing himself through song. He was drawn to animals and felt most at peace surrounded by nature. Whether outdoors or with a guitar in hand, those were the moments that truly reflected who he was.

John is survived by his daughter Jessica Lasher and son Adam Lasher; his 2 grandchildren; his sister, Barbara Hill; and his niece and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents, Harriet Krouse and Darwin Lasher, and his brother, Terry Lasher.

In accordance with his wishes, cremation will take place, and services will be held at a later date.

John will be remembered for his love of music, his quiet appreciation of life’s simple pleasures, and the lasting impact he had on his family. He will be missed.
