John W. Lenhart, Jr. (1953-2025) passed away peacefully on Nov. 28.
Raised in Spencerport, he spent several years in Kansas City, Kansas, where he attended Avila College to pursue his passion for the theater. He returned to western New York where he worked for RG&E and lived many years In Hilton.
The son of John and Phyllis Lenhart, he was also predeceased by his wife Brenda Harden Lenhart. He is survived by 4 children who were the focus of his life: Michael Harden (Angelina Sergent) Lenhart, Kayla Marlaine (Louis II) Giorgione, Alan Phillip Lenhart, and Jordan MacKay (Mindy) Lenhart; 7 greatly loved grandchildren; two brothers Richard (Gloria) Lenhart and Charles Lenhart; one sister Mary Lenhart (Richard) Kosbab); several nieces and nephews; two very special friends from Spencerport high school, Ervina Donahue and Dave Marion, as well as several other close friends from high school; his good friend and favorite teacher from Spencerport High School, Bill Castle, and also good friends he worked with at RG&E.
