Joseph Edward "Joey" Klosek, 51 years old of Penfield, New York passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 27, 2018 surrounded by his family, friends and his amazing caregivers from Heritage Christian Services at Rochester General Hospital in Rochester, NY of natural causes complicated by dementia.Joey was born in Brooklyn, NY on April 24, 1967 to Margaret and Joseph Klosek, Jr. Joey had been a resident with Heritage Christian Services for the past 28 years. Joey worked at Springdale Farms caring for animals for over 20 years. He also actively volunteered in his community and participated in many Special Olympics. Joey loved being the center of attention and could brighten any room. His sense of humor would always make you smile. While Joey was small in stature he had a mighty spirit. Joey was always kind and gentle to anyone he met, and you couldn't help but love him. He had a life-long love of animals, $5 bills, fire trucks, walkie talkies and all things Christmas. He loved to play Jingle Bells on his guitar. Like his hero "the Fonz" he would always give you two thumbs up.Joey is pre-deceased by his mother Margaret.
