Julian Joseph Boland

Beloved son of Kimbly Boland & Mark Thomas passed away peacefully at his apartment in Buffalo on September 28, 2018 at age 29. Julian was a graduate of Trumansburg High School, Class of 2007 & an Engineering student at Erie Community College.He will be remembered for his charm & quick wit. He had an amazing ability to debate any topic, especially politics. He loved cooking & was already the master of throwing dinner parties & known for making the perfect sandwich. He liked to play video games & was always listening to podcasts & documentaries. He loved to walk in the forest or sit in the backyard & stare up at the stars. Julian was a loyal friend & wonderful son. He knew what was important in life. He will be missed dearly.He is also survived by brother Trevor Boland; sister Jolene Boland; grandmother Barbara Thomas; aunts & uncles Jake McClelland Jr., Dawn & Daryl Hall, Colleen Conway, Suzanne Boland, Michael & Lynn Boland, Steve Thomas & Grian McGregor, Larry Thomas & Denise Radtke , Zach Thomas; cousins Alison & Caryn Wirth, Jessica Conway , Schyler, Asher & Nicki Thomas. Julian was predeceased by his father Joseph D. Boland; grandmother Barbara Cator; grandfather Robert J. McClelland; grandparents Vaughn and Virginia Boland; grandfather Robert Thomas & uncle Frank McClelland.A memorial celebration of Julian's life will be held Sunday, October 14 at 1pm at Taughannock Falls State Park, Route 89, Trumansburg, NY, Central Pavilion (those without a park pass just let them know you are there for the memorial).
