Lagaysha D Burwell

Predeceased by her father Jessie and Shatiaa. She is survived by her children Ronnie (Dorothy), Tonye, Princess and Ebonkee; her mother Dorothy Ferreira; 6 grandchildren and two brothers Oluwole and Delancey.

Services and Interment will be held at the family's convenience.

Lagaysha was a loving person, daughter, mother, sister and grandmother. She will be sadly missed.

To whom it may concern,
To many it may concern
Life is full of lefts and rights
With fire there comes a burn
A mom is like a shining light
That doesn’t seem to fade
Through darkness and shade
We look for it, even if it’s only light in the day
A daughter’s glow is like crystals that shine like snow
While a son’s mission is simple
With a mom’s taste of growth
You never said it would be easy
In fact you said
“Suit up”
“Son always protect my girls, keep your head up, and your mouth shut”
It sounds crazy now because you always ran your tongue
You never took anything from us
In fact you gave us life, a good one
And for that we’d forever be thankful
Rest Peacefully Queen, We love you
