On February 13th, the world lost a loving mother, daughter, sister, partner, and friend. Linda battled liver cancer with strength, and it never stopped her from caring for others. She was dedicated to bringing people together, whether she was hosting at camp, feeding everyone at the boat launch, or singing "Love Shack" at family gatherings. She truly loved being surrounded by her family and friends. Linda passed away at Rochester General Hospital, surrounded by those who loved her.
Linda was predeceased by her parents, John and Jane Casso of Rotterdam, NY.
She is survived by her children, Ryan Christie and Kelly Relihan; her brothers, Ron Casso, John Casso, and Gary Casso; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
Linda is also survived by her partner, Jim Wilkens, and his entire family, whose lives she touched over the years. As a loving maternal figure, she always found a way to brighten their days and make them smile.
The brightest star in Linda's life was her granddaughter, Peighton Christie. Linda cherished their time together by the lake and loved looking at her pictures. Seeing Peighton grow into the beautiful girl she is today always brought a smile to Linda's face.
At Linda's request, there will be no formal services. Before she passed, she made it known that she wanted us all to share a laugh and raise a glass in celebration of her life.
