Melanie J. Cowley

Melanie passed away on October 18, 2024, after a lengthy illness, at the age of 51. She is survived by mother Carol Cowley and her father Fred (Debbie) Cowley; siblings Jennifer (Steve) Mageary, Frederick (Priscilla) Cowley; Emily (JD Muraj) Cowley and Sylvia (Marty) Brewster; many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and extended family and friends.

Melanie was a Registered Nurse and worked for Rochester Regional Health until her illness prevented her from working. She enjoyed nature and hiking. She had a love and devotion to her family and enjoyed spending time with them.

Friends are invited to call on Tuesday October 22, 2024 from 4-6 PM at James R. Gray Funeral Home, 1530 Buffalo Road, Rochester, NY 14624. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated the following day, Wednesday, October 23, 2024 beginning at 10 AM at St. Monica Church, 831 Genesee Street, Rochester, NY 14611. Entombment will follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
