Nicola Sanese

Nicola Sanese (aka Nick, Nickoli, Gumba, Grandpa), 82, of Rochester, New York, died peacefully on August 17, 2022.  He was born August 8, 1940 in Casalbordino, Chieti, Italy to Alfonso Sanese and Anna Sanese (Cieri). He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers Francesco & Julian. Nick has called Rochester, NY home for over 50 years and had been an active member in the Catholic community. 
Nick thrived on being surrounded by people with whom he could share his stories, and he was known by many for his unique personality.
Those left to mourn his death and celebrate his life include his son Julian Bryan Sanese of San Diego, CA, his daughter Nicole Y. Sanese and her husband Victor Luis Gomez and their son Erick Francisco Gomez of Escondido, California.  Also surviving him are numerous family members residing in Rochester, NY, Carolinas (United States), Canada and Italy.
