Rick was born on December 25, 1954 in Rochester, NY to Roy and Virginia (Skinner) McIntyre. He died May 12, 2025 at Hildebrandt Hospice Care Center. He was predeceased by his parents; brother Roy, and sister Diane. He is survived by his loving wife Julia Gaona McIntyre; daughter, Michelle; sister, Susan; dear friends Steve Shean and Ed Bremer; many friends, as well as his fur family Chloe, Onyx and his favorite, Cookie.
Rick attended MCC and studied precision machining and tooling. He most recently worked as a toolmaker for PEKO Precision Products. While still healthy, he fellowshipped at The Father’s House in Chili where he participated in the intercessory and baptism groups as well as volunteered. He bravely lived with cancer, treatments, medications, surgeries and side effects for the past 15 months, yet maintained a strong faith in God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
There will be a celebration of life at the Prayer Chapel, 692 Paul Rd, Rochester,14624 on May 22nd at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be private.
