Ruth (Schuck) Roush

Ruth Roush, 91 years old (nee Schuck) was called peacefully to the spirit on May 29, 2023. She is survived by her devoted husband of 65 years, Richard Roush of Rochester NY. She is also survived by her two children Kathleen Gansemer (nee Roush) of Rochester, NY and Robert DiGangi-Roush of Central Susquehanna Valley PA; her sister Sharon Lenhardt of Phoenix, AZ and is predeceased by her brother Jim Lenhardt. She is also survived by her grandchildren Meghan Socko (nee Gansemer), Brendon Gansemer and great granddaughters of Greenville SC, sons-in-law, nieces and step granddaughters.

Despite battling Alzheimer’s for several years, she remained the most grateful person that enjoyed life with her family. Ruth was both a travel agent in Buffalo, NY and a teacher’s aide in the Williamsville, NY school district, responsible for the science center at Casey Middle School. Ruth and Richard enjoyed their extensive travel when she was a travel agent. Ruth took pride in maintaining a well-run household and raising her two children.
Richard and Ruth were among the original founders and active members of Saint James Lutheran Church in Amherst, NY in the early 1960s. She was deeply loved and will be missed by all, beyond measure.
