Suddenly on Tuesday, November 17, 2020, at the age of 71. Stephen G. Crane, “Rip” was a loving father, grandfather and brother.
Stephen was born in Rochester, NY to Bernard (Curley) M. and Thresa P. (Harvey) Crane.
Living in Irondequoit most of his life, from a young age he worked with his father building homes in Irondequoit, and later he worked as a machine operator for many years. He had a passion for animals, loved riding his Harley, building race cars, playing his guitar, was an avid lover of music, and loved attending concerts with his family and friends. He was a gentle soul with a great heart and will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
Stephen was preceded in death by his father Bernard; mother Thresa; sister Linda (Edward) Allen of Idaho; brother John of NY and half-brother Jerry of CA. He is survived by his daughter Jessica (Cory) Brown; grandchildren Aidan and Makayla of Colorado; brother Kevin; sisters Carolyn (Eugene) Monfort, Pamela Crane of NY and Shari (Michael) Cliff of Idaho; several nieces and nephews and his dear friend/brother Paul Tollner.
Private services will be held in the summer of 2021.
