Susan M. (Roveda) Gross Obituary

Susan M. (Roveda) Gross

Susan M. Gross passed away with dignity on June 7, 2026, at her home after a four-year struggle with depression and memory loss.

Susan is survived by Antonio Gross; her beloved twin children, Alaia "Alex" Gross and Antonio "Andre" Gross; her sister and brother-in-law, Donna-Rae and Steve Hudson; her mother-in-law, Rosemarie Gross; and her stepmother, Francine Roveda. She also leaves behind many extended family members, friends, and colleagues whose lives were enriched by her kindness, dedication, and generous spirit.

Born in North Bay, Ontario, Canada, and a longtime resident of the Rochester area, Susan was a proud graduate of H.W. Schroeder, Class of 1982, and later graduated from Monroe Community College. She devoted more than thirty years of service to Boylan Code LLP, where she was highly respected by colleagues and clients alike for her professionalism, loyalty, and unwavering work ethic.

She found immense happiness in watching her children Alex and Andre grow into remarkable young adults.

Susan will be remembered for her warm heart, her dedication to those she loved, and the lasting impact she made on everyone fortunate enough to know her. Her memory will live on through the family she adored and the countless lives she touched throughout her life.

In accordance with Susan's wishes, there will be no calling hours or formal service. She requested that her ashes be spread in the waters off Provincetown, Massachusetts, a place she loved.

In lieu of flowers, Susan's family asks that you take a moment to check on someone who may be struggling. Advocate for them. Listen to them. Support them. Mental illness affects countless families. The mental health system is broken, and too many people suffer in silence. If Susan's story can help even one person receive the care, support, and understanding they need, her family hopes some good may come from this loss.
