Timothy P. Furness

On April 24, 2025, at age 61, Timothy went home to be with the Lord. He is predeceased by his father Robert Furness.

He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Theresa Furness (Young); children Katie (Ryan) Brock, Madelyn (Phoebe Rose) Furness, and Isabella (Micah) Brisco; grandson Jackson Brock; Mother Diane Furness; brother Michael Furness; sister Dawn (Bob) Gaylord; several nieces, nephews, extended family, and many good friends.

Tim was faithful to the ministries of First Bible Baptist Church including discipleship, Men’s Ministry, G&T Sports Park, Life Groups, Men’s Prayer meeting, Summit Youth Ministry, and was always willing to serve the Church in any capacity. He was loved by many in the Church where he also served as a deacon.  He was an avid duck hunter who enjoyed the outdoors. He successfully operated several of his own businesses.

His family would like to thank his Church family, the nurses and staff at Strong Memorial Hospital, the staff at Monroe Community Hospital, and the physical therapists at Lattimore Physical Therapy for their care.

Family and Friends are invited to a Memorial Service on Saturday May 3, 2025, at 11:00 AM at First Bible Baptist Church, 990 Manitou Road Hilton, NY 14468.
