Vi "Oley" Valentine

Vi "Oley" Valentine, 66, of Wolcott, NY, passed away surrounded by loved ones on December 31, 2022. at Newark-Wayne Hospital ICU. Vi is survived by her husband Daniel E. Valentine; daughter Kim (Marvin) Eggleston; son Richard "Buddy" Pople; granddaughters Makayla (Spencer) Malone, Chelsy (Gary) Eggleston, 6 great grandchildren; brothers Charlie (Maryann) Mattice, Cornelius "Corky" (Teena) Mattice, Dale (Melinda) Mattice and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents Cornelius "Bud" and Mary Mattice; sister Linda Bell and nephew Charles "Chuck" Mattice. She worked at Motts/Dr Pepper for a number of years and retired from TRW in Auburn. She will be missed dearly by her family and friends, but also by her fur babies, Max, Mamma Cat, Squeekers and Lucky. 

Friends and family are invited to visitation on Saturday, January 7, 2022 at 11 AM at Faith United Methodist Church, 12223 Oswego St. Wolcott, NY 14590. A formal service will be held in her honor, at the church, beginning at 1 PM, and will be immediately followed by a reception.
