Vladas Malasauskas Obituary

Rochester: Passed away December 29, 2018 surrounded by his family. Predeceased by his parents Jakob & Veronika; sisters Danute & Aldute; brother Frank & granddaughter-in-law Stacia Holt Weidenborner. Survived by loving wife Ieva; daughter Diana (Robert) Brogan; grandson Christopher Weidenborner; sister Rasute (Romanas) Stropus; brother Vytautas; stepdaughters Asta (Brian) Grant, Laima (Dalius) Norvaisas; step-grandchildren Kirsten (John) Foglia, Paolo Blanchi, Elija & Jakobas Norvaisas; great-grandchildren Christian & Jayson Weidenborner; step-great-grandchildren Nathan Holt, Ryan & Shawn Foglia; many nieces; nephews; cousins & dear friends in the US & Lithuania. A retiree of Gleason Works, lifetime active member of the Lithuania community & community Choir Putinas, Walter & family immigrated to Rochester, NY in 1950. Services will be held Saturday, January 26, 2019 at Our Lady of Lourdes, 150 Varinna Dr, Rochesterbeginning with calling hours at 11:30 am followed by his Funeral Mass at 12:30 pm. A memorial dinner will follow at 2:15 pm at Lakeshore Country Club, 1165 Greenleaf Rd. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to Lithuanian Radio Program, 840 Partridge Lane, Webster, NY 14580 or to your favorite charity.
